And here is my cookie – a family favorite! SNICKERDOODLES!

Freshly baked Snickerdoodle cookies cooling on wire racks.

Mix together:

2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoon cream of tartar

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

Set aside while you cream together:

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 ½ cups sugar

Add in:

2 eggs – one at a time, blending between each.

Then blend in:

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Then add your dry ingredients to the wet and mix well. Then, use a small cookie scoop or spoon to scoop out some dough, roll into a ball, and then roll into a cinnamon sugar mixture (⅓ cup sugar, 2 tablespoons cinnamon) until well coated.

Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake in a pre-heated 350°F oven for 8-10 minutes. I usually let them sit on the cookie sheet for a few minutes and then move them to a rack to cool.

Enjoy!

Be sure to hop to all the authors and collect the name of each cookie! Here is the list again if you need it.

And click here to enter my giveaway for a $10 Amazon gift card! The winner of my giveaway will be contacted on Dec 14th.
